Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve Couples Session

Good choice! Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve is a beautiful location in East San Jose. Before you head up the windy road for your session, you should keep a few things in mind:

1. Check online for their hours! It closes quite early. They close at 5PM (unless you are already parked, then they will let you stay until sunset). They WILL kick you out as soon as it gets dark.

2. There are no restrooms!

3. The road to the parking lot is very windy. It will take you approx ~12 minutes to get up to the lot, and there's a chance there are no spots left. There are only 37!

4. No pets allowed!

If there are no spots available, sometimes the park rangers let you wait in a line in front of the lot. Other times, they don't. Spots open up quickly so just keep coming back and try again. Ideally, you should head back to the city by turning around and go back down the same way you drove up, since the road goes on forever past the lot.
